One day a week sounds reasonable. Everyone needs their space and their own life. My husband is pretty good in this regard, he doesnt hold it against me or make a fuss wheN I hang out wiht my friends. And I wouldn't have a problem with him seeing friends once a week or so either, it's all really up to him.
