Why do you think it is shameful??? We are talking about an army of an independent nation India…not an army of enslaved British India…
In fact, you should be happy for Indian muslims that inspite of being a religious minority, indian muslims are given equal rights to be a part of army of their own country…If you are a citizen of a country then you have the right to join its army, otherwise you are a so-called citizen in that country or a citizen who cannot be trusted.
