Well Dr. LUL…Why would a muslim, who is born and brought up in the by lanes of old delhi fall in love with lahore or karachi???
Conflict between India and pakistan is no longer a Hindu-muslim conflict…there are many muslims in Indian armed forces that have rose to the rank of Lt Gen., Maj Gen., Air Chief Marshals etc…
Brigadier Mohammad Amin Naik who is a kashmiri Muslim was promoted to Maj. Gen. 2 years back.
The sooner you accept the reality the better it is for you and people like you.
i dont think hes disagreeing with the reality that a certain number of muslims join the Indian army.
it is shameful that they do that, but then you see examples like that all through history. For example a certain number of black peopl e fought for the pro-slavery South against the anti-slavery North in the American civil war.
This part is particularly relevant:
Professor Ed Smith, director of American Studies at American University, says Stonewall Jackson had 3,000 fully equipped black troops scattered throughout his corps at Antietam - the war’s bloodiest battle. Mr. Smith calculates that between 60,000 and 93,000 blacks served the Confederacy in some capacity. They fought for the same reason they fought in previous wars and wars afterward: “to position themselves. They had to prove they were patriots in the hope the future would be better … they hoped to be rewarded.”
