Its a status symbol nowadays. Think of it, if you are entering a party with 80K suit and 20K facial and hairdo, why in this world would you hold your child in your arm to mess up your expensive getup. You better have a maid pushing the stroller behind you with your baby in it.

well i had seen many of my aunties hiring a massi for their kids in pakistan..simply because they can be free from taking care of the baby and can do their other stuff like shopping, getting ready. these aunties doesnt even take their babies when they attend wedding or parties....
..well its up to you..if your daughter is young and you think its difficult for you to look after her then you can hire a massi to help you look after her when you have to attend guests, go shopping etc.
if you think you can handle her then dont have to hire a massi.
