Is this fair?

Sadly another presumption on your part. What makes you think that I see myself as a Punjabi (first) or that CM is a Punjabi in the first place, as if such a fact would colour our judgement anyway? We have presented solid facts and statistics, not mere opinions from separatist sites and little known writers, to counter the appalingly weak factual arguments that you and others have put forward. If you want to see and judge people’s opinions through the prism of Punjabi v non-Punjabi, then you are welcome to to do so, but frankly we will not concur.

I would like you to address just the factual basis of the arguments at hand. To date you have not, and the statistics you have provided have in fact undermined your argument. Thorughout this thread I have asked you and the others to address the major cause of poverty and inequality in the smaller provinces, namely feudalism and the unequal distribution of land. Until you address the major causes you will not be able to see through the excuses and blame mentality of some people. So I ask you yet again to address this question in detail, as the ADB report says as follows:-

*The prevalence of an unequal land distribution system is thus a major cause of poverty, and significantly enhances vulnerability.

But it is in terms of social vulnerability, that arises primarily from social powerlessness, that conditions in Sindh are truly a cause for concern. Pervasive inequality in land ownership has intensified the degree of vulnerability of the poorest sections of rural society, because the effects of an unequal land distribution are not limited to control over assets. The structure of rural society, in areas where land ownership is highly unequal, tends to be strongly hierarchical, with large landowners or tribal chiefs exercising considerable control over the decisions, personal and otherwise, of people living in their area, as well as over their access to social infrastructure facilities.*

Ironic isnt it that you lose respect for us when we dont hold a similar point of view. Me Punjabi? Hardly. I hold no alliegence to any province in Pakistan if you catch my drift.

The issue is very simple. People complain about not enough money and provide faulty facts, like i have stated through out this thread. The facts presented are neither correct and some arent even logical. Anyway, the issue is simple, the NFC needs to be changed, but not to the determint of our existing industries. At the same time the leaders of rural sindh should be made accountable for the inaction in govt. Right now the PPP has so many seats. Lets see how many initiatives are proposed to develop the rest of the country. I have stated pervious times in this thread, people complain about Punjab getting too much, yet it is the very same leaders of Sindh that say nothing about it. You want something changed, yet the provincial leaders dont do anything. Then of course the military, the centre and other provinces are blamed.

You both hold blind alliengance to the govnt of Pakistan and the ruling army and that indeed is sad.

Feudalism is also a problem in Punjab, but parts of Punjab have been developed and things are relatively better. Without development and money for it, Sindh and Balochistan will remain in the hand of feudals.

And my question on army spendign was not answered. Why doesn't the provicne with most number of soldiers contribtue the most funds for army? Let Sindh and Balochistan use its money for development. People cannot defeat feudalism by themselves, they need helping hand from govnt otherwise they have no choice but to fall back to waders and sardars. Currently for rural people their is no other option but to go to landlords, since govnt services simply do not exist.

All those duties that are collected from Karachi should go to teach people of Pakistan how to read, not to federal govnt to make airports, motorways, buy new tanks, and pay of lended money.

This game cannot go on forever. Only thing I can hope for is that Pakistan comes out of united, stronger, and fairer. I have said what I wanted to say and now I can only wish for the best, but the facts are in fron of you. So ammount of justifying it will change the ground reality.
