You can ask but should be her decision without u having any hard feelings. After all its just an "ask"

You can ask but no guarantee it'll be accepted. Best to reveal your views before it's too late to speak out. Girl deserves to know your opinion of things. I know one girl who complied and one girl who broke her engagement. Married girls really don't have time to get chummy with female friends much less male friends (especially with conservative in-laws) so I do think it's a situation that resolves itself naturally.

whether or not it's reasonable depends on who she is as a person today....
does she have several male friends?
will giving them up be a hardship for her?

also....why are you asking this?
do you have doubts?
if yes, then don't you think that there are much bigger problems at play then whether or not your "ask" is reasonable?

The fact she call them friends rather then co-workers etc. shows she lives in lala land a little.
You don't want mother of children living in lala land do you?

Never ever.... ever.. respond to
"you know my friend "
or
" getting married or trying to get married" etc.
Give pause... and speak about some thing else.

Any specific reason behind this?
Does she have friends before marriage who she'd like to be in touch with and they are completely respectable?
I believe it's best that marriage doesn't bring about much change.. It's the change that makes it undesirable.

Best idea would be to just keep her in the room and don't let her leave the house. Lock and key why don't you? Much more effective method
