Is this a new trend in bridal wear?

Hey everyone,

I thought I’d ask you fashionistas about a new trend in bridal wear. I’ve seen a couple of bridal lengha’s where the dupatta is in a completely different color, (the color of the dupatta is not even found in the shirt or lengha). Is this a new trend or is it an old trend and I’m only discovering it now? I’ve posted two examples of this.

I haven’t seen this trend before.

Looking at the pic’ I don’t think the colours suit. The kaam might be the same on duppatta and shirt - but it doesn’t work for me.
