I m a designer myself & I knw tht all designers have their name logo at the back of the shirt & maria B also has it i think u better ask the person 2 show u the receipt..

it is not maria b. for sure.
i have a couple of outfits from maria b. and they all have tags with her label on them at the neck.

whatever it is it is ugly .. sorry to say that, but it looks like the eighty style with goota and red, it needs more colours and elegant and simple but stylish kaam and not a bedcover wala kaam.

its not, she doesn't have the same design on the top and bottom, not from what i've seen of her collection when i was there and looking at my own lengha it looks like a really bad imitation, the kaam on the shirt is awful and too spaced out, arms look unfitted. proof she should have a receipt from maria b, the tag inside of the top of kameez and lenga, plus tags, plus box, i got metal maria b embossed box to keep my lengha in, if not that then a maria b cover wrap. these days alot of ppl have jumped on the designer pakistan bandwagon and using names to sell products.
maria b's lenghas, start from 2lakh 20, her basic formals start from 35,000 rupees. the design looks indian, maria b uses sworaski crystals on her lenghas and the pouch she has with it is deffo not maria b, thats the indian style. maria b does more clutch style bags with her bridals.

here are pics of mine, the red is a copied design, her lenghas in this design always have different piping colour and kaamof silver and antique gold, and the red one doesnt xxx
and if it turns out to be one of her creations, then shame on her lol xxxx
this is the lengha as a full pic, and the ones above are close up of the exact same one as in the pic as I had it made from maria b for my wedding.

Even IF its Maria B, which its probably not, the shirt doesnt look good, all 3 pieces are covered in kaam, it looks so busy, doesnt have a classy look to it. I agree, it seems more Indian than Pakistani. Hope you can get your money back! You can find something much lovelier for than much money!

i actually think it might b Maria B.... but the best way to find out is email the designer or the designing team. you have nothing to lose with that. if it is hers keep it if u like..if not return it back to the person.
it is a bit heavy...but maybe the person wanted that...either way...go to the source to find out!

I agree, wanted to avoid the word paindoo, but oh well thats what it is, reminds me of the ninthies.

I hate to disappoint you, but this is def not a Maria B bridal dress. Somebody did an attempt to copy her twirls and embroidery but failed completely!
