Is there timeout associated with our session

It was not like this before, I was writing, and when done writing I clicked to submit and it asked me to log back in , consequently every thing that I had already written had vanished into the thin “cyber space”.

Now I write in MS office and paste it here, but then I have to deal with annoying “smil…es”, and fonts; often these “fonts” still showup in my post. A “happy face” in a serious topic is pretty anachronous.

what should I do…other than stop writing.

Re: Is there timeout associated with our session

stop thinking :p

Re: Is there timeout associated with our session

yes it is.

2 things you can do:

  1. stop writing long posts. that’s exactly why we have the timeout thing. to discourage long posts. no one wants to read them :chai:

  2. when you log in, remember to click on the “rememeber me” box . log out when you leave instead of closing the window.

:rotfl:

In other words , you are asking me, politely and nicely, to stop writing for no one is interested.

Re: Is there timeout associated with our session

no, i’m asking you to click on the remember me box when you log in :dannyboy:

Indeed , a box may remember me, human don’t though, in reality it is clicked already.
