I can understand this reasoning for desi women but western women are supposed to be more independent, educated, career driven than desi women yet they suffer very much from the BrideZilla complex perhaps more so than desi women…now there’s TV shows where brides compete to have plastic surgery! and although its not that common (hopefully), it still shows that women are insecure and obsessed as ever, esp with their weddings…
