I posted this some time ago ...

The way he is doing the process is the correct way as instructed in books of fiqh ... It should be no surprise to us that the method that we are supposed to use for zabiha/halal is the best way ... it's a whole combination of things that make it work including the tone of voice and covering the eyes, and speaking softly as well as the name of Allah.

Best thing try it yourself.

I agree with psyah. Exactly, this is the best method to sacrifie our animal.
