This was exactly my point in one of the other threads regarding India-Pakistan friendship. I mean look at someone like mundyaa -- he obviously is an educated guy (I'm not just talking "literate" here)...and look at the views he has !! Hardly surprising that our relations are what they are !!
what about my views? i did not create classes among hindus. brahmans and shudars were created by brahman preachers.
unfortunately they were also perverts and made everyone else worship their lingum and kama sutra and other sick stuff. now these are sorry facts but its the truth and u gotta live with it.
Mundayya, the post we objected is removed by moderator and so is my reply.
now dont try to play smart.
we can talk equally about 'truth' of islam in Jay Maharaj manner. if you want we will do it.

So I agree with you that it was created by brahaman preachers
*unfortunately they were also perverts and made everyone else worship their lingum *
Sorry - come again- whose lingum.
kama sutra and other sick stuff
What's so sick about kama sutra. What do you know about your origin and why your allah has chosen to make sex so pleasurable for human beings? Why doesn't allah also put human beings on heat (for a few days in a year) so that they can copulate only at that time and then forget about it like many animals?
*now these are sorry facts but its the truth and u gotta live with it. *
If you are so sorry please do not enjoy your sex life and only reproduce (calculating the days so that you only make love when there is maximum possibility of fertilization).
somehow mundayya does not know enough on india otherwise he could have attacked better. not just kamasutra, buddy, in ancient india, universities were supposed to teach 64 arts which included apart from haram music and sinful dancing, even stealing. Not many books have survived the course of time. but we can assume there existed some chaurya-sutra on art of stealing as textbook in university of taxila.
so whats wrong with discussing it? we discuss touchy islamic subjects all the time. multiple wives, pardah, jihad are all being discussed as we speak.
but too bad we cant discuss what hinduism preaches.... i mean if u hindus are ashamed of it. and are discouraging discussing preachings of ur perverted brahman gurus.... then it must be really sick.
I wish moderator did not delete your post so that people know what one is objecting. No harm discussing hinduism as long as yo dont talk of temples where monkeys f*** cows and stuff like.
Go on, we are discussing. It all started with idol worship. After that there is a flurry of queries. Why not open a new thread for each and every query so that you really discuss one by one and not flood with questions, like some people like BB and Ghazi were doing. That way you will get more responses and will actually end up discussing something rather than making fun (of yourself, that is).
Scarface who cares what Hindus or Sikhs worship! These stones(idols) will be burnt in hell alongside its worshippers. That's what
my holy book states about idols and idol worshippers.
As a beleiver you must focus your energies in
spreading Allah's word to those muslims who have gone astray.

Are you sure that we will burn in hell. According to my holy book human being is judged by their Karma (deeds) rather then how he/she chooses to worship.

Scarface, I think Rani, adbulmalik, dayhatan jee and others has explained your question in a very appropriately and simpler way, no need for me to jot down further. Read again between the lines, you will find gems of info.
Anyhow, if you didn't get clear yet, let me say the same thing in a different way by extending my debate beyond Hinduism. There is an idol in every person, whom he/she worships (regardless of ones faith). Surprisingly all were tailored by human himself, ranging from living to non-living sculptures.
You cant blame Buddha(as) or Krishna(as) as idol designers, they were just humans like the other great prophets, meant to deliver a message to the people of the time, which (like other religions) has been distorted and disfigured according to ones mental span.
Idol worshiping is not a specific performance of Hinduism (or Buddhism), astonishingly, it is also present in today's so called Muslims, like the dayhatan says , we try to locate Allah up in the sky (not to mention along with Jesus, who is still physically wandering some where in the galaxy, hope one day Hubble will catch the sight) or as Rani says; Muslims once a year try to tie the Satan's (see the actual photo posted by garam masala) with sacred pillars and throw pebbles (some also use chapels, ripe tomatoes and rotten eggs). More over there is particular sect in Islam who while praying put a small piece of 'clay' at the place of sajda (prostration) and everyday instead of asking God for help, they instead ask a dead human for help, though the tense is the still same, only the flavor is different.
Truth is, despite the denial of God by any one, deep within their hearts seems to be lurking a desire to worship something. The same unquenchable innate thirst for God etched deep upon the human soul urges them to worship HIM, or something, if not HIM. So it is to fill this gap that the Buddhist /hindus /Christians /Muslims /etc worship the Buddha /Krishna /Jesus /etc etc /etc (respectively) without formally recognizing him to be a god. This also answers Roman's post about SPRITUALITY.
And QUEER none of the religions taught idol worshiping or such unsound rituals, they all crept in slowly with the passage of time. A Human is a very week specie; it only follows what their ancestors had followed. No one has the courage to seek the help from the true God.
That's enough for now. Scarface, try to find an Idol within your soul. Trust me we all are nourishing one.
Rani, read carefully! I've already mentioned that I don't give a hoot about your book and believes. It's fallacious and laden with dark and devious scripture. If you deciede to follow it then you'ld be one of the loosers on the day of judgement. That's my belief and
that's what my Quran teaches.
outlaw, people explained since someone asked a question. the thread is not started by a hindu or sikh. a pakistani muslim was curious and he asked a question. people answered in their capacity. if u dont give two hoots, dont read. there are enough threads running on whether shias or kafirs or sunnis are kafirs and ur other favourite begotted topics.
ZZ,I my job is to put forward truth from the Islamic scripture and if it offends you or Rani, then too bad...
Outlaw,
I am glad I wouldn't be joining you in your private heaven populated by bigots like you. It will an interesting place with all the intolerent people in one place.
Zalim,
Thanks for very eloquent and great post. I wish there were more open minded and knowledgable people like you with your vision of the world. I agree with your assessment that human beings have an inherent need to believe in something bigger then themselves and it doesn't matter whether there is God or not they will creat one fulfill that need.
ZZ,
Always enjoy your posts, keep them coming.

so whats a good deed for a shudar? to kiss the brahman boots as well as he can.... and as efficiently as he can. And as a reward he gets the label of being an untouchable? Seems to me that if you are a brahman things are very fine with hinduism but you are sol if u r a shudar.
Mundayaa,
I have no idea where you are coming from. Karma is no different for Shudra or for Brahmin. According to the religion Brahmin will pay for his mistreatment of a fellow human being (shudra). Treating somebody inferior is bad Karma.

This was One thread where, for once, some of us were discussing a topic of interest, Irrespective of our Personal Religions/Religious beliefs!!!
So, can others please take their
Hindu v Muslim or Muslim v Hindu, mud slinging some place else?!!!
Zalim,
Hi and long time no see? Why? Hope all's well your end!
[This message has been edited by Dehatan (edited May 12, 2000).]
mundayya, u can start another thread on caste or varna system. i guess u are done with idol worship.
Listen Dehatan, you gotta problem with Quran or its teachings then you may choose to ignore.
For all the rest of idol worshippers, the path you are following is leading you to destruction and nothing else..
