point in convincing someone of your views when they hold an opposite view?..is there any way to avoid fighting in such instances?..do u think its worth it to argue?

I think if you know something -- conifdently then you should share it with people.
My husband is passive like that... like he knows so much about Politics -- but he wont say anything to uncles when they talk rubbish!

Depends what type of person is infront of you. The words and diction he/she uses, are enough to show how much he/she is capable of arguing. If I notice he/she is not going to convience and looking stubborn and would stick to his/her point at any cost then I don't really bother myself. I just go on and never try to get on his/her nerves by force lolz
And yes..Argument and fighting both are entirely different things only mature minds can identify that difference so it's better not to get into it.
I am very persuasive and normally do get ppl to listen to me...but there r some ppl that can't persuade and some ppl that r too stubborn...so it really depends on who ur talking to...

What you do is not persuation it is bachoon key zid and your parents get persuaded because they love you.
Don't try this with anybody other than your own parents.

No, that's not true becaues i never persuade my parents/siblings. They say no/yes, it's final. I always have done persuation with my friends, normally trying to get them out of the box...into new stuff. But i just wanna let you know, the persuation i do is not zid, or i woudln't post about it here...:)
