I am a Pakistani citizen living in East Africa for past ten years.
This year in July I planed to migrate to UK under High Skilled Immigrant Visa scheme, and I hired the services of Work Permit.Com through internet and they promised me they will get me visa with in 3 months.
During the process they asked me to pay 900 GBP as service fee which I paid fully.
Almost six months are over they are keep on telling me now that they have not heard form Home Office regarding my visa I should wait
Next week I am planning to go to UK specially visit their office if there is any I would like to get help to know the answers for below questions if any one can help me.
1- Is there any one who has got HSMP visa through the above mention company?
2- Is there any one who can help me to sue them?
3- Are there better opportunities in UK ?
Any suggestion in this regard will be highly appreciated.
Answer to this is "may be". You will not be hired by UK firms unless u prove UK or at least West European work experience. It can take as long as two years to find anything decent. So keep in mind that everything is not milk & sugar in UK. I dont class UK as land of opportunities because its over crowded, expensive & becoming racist.
Rest you should have made inquiries about this company, apparently they are reputeable in UK for work agencies to get work permits for contractors but that doesn't mean they are good for HSMP. You can cannot sue them unless a reasonable time has lapsed and six months is not enough for that unless u they have singed a contract & you have it in written format that they will finalise your application in three months. As a personal opinions, Immigration matters are not as quick as we think, I'd say give it around three months ..... in some cases it can take way longer than we expect. Good luck.
