non-alcoholic liquor/liquer? If yes, then are they available in stores like LCBO? And since (if) it doesn’t have alcohol in it, should I assume it’s permissible to use them in cooking/baking?
Re: Is there any such thing as
hmmm I think any liquer will have alcohol...but when you heat it, the alcohol disappears. But even so I think its still haraam in a strict sense. I really dont know what the rules are as far as this whole thing goes, I mean for sure you can cook some of these things till there is absolutely NO alcohol content...but I guess you can never know for sure and that means that its probably ALL harram ALL the time yeah?
There ARE replacements tho for certain of these. Maybe let us know what kind of recipe you are using and what kind of liquer it calls for? Then it would be easier to advise on replacements.
Re: Is there any such thing as
you’d be surprised at how much alcohol is left and doesn’t disappear, even after long periods of cooking! but yeah, there are lots of replacements, but it depends on what you’re cooking of course.
Re: Is there any such thing as
Thanks Mamaof3 and zzz, I was thinking the same too...Would you know about what I can as substitute for liquer?
Re: Is there any such thing as
I've used juices!

Any particular juice?
