is there any exercise...

to remove a small double chin?

You can do various facial exercises that are meant to help but i'm not sure how successful they are. It's one of those things that a lot of people have and its hard to get rid of.

It's probably easier to disguise it than try and get rid of it.

Or you can just get a face lift.

my colleagz were discussin this exercise one time yaar. its a really funny exercise so u wana do this alone

basically first smile really widely so u can feel ur below chin muscles getting pulled

then quickly say OOOOOO so much so that u can feel ur below chin muscles getting pulled

keep doing that

and yah i heard chewing gum also helps and when u wash ur face then stroke ur below chin skin upwards rather than downwards, like bring ur hand from ur neck to ur chin

hope that helps

btw a friend of mine was overweight and had a double chin, when she lost wt she lost her double chin too

But there's lots of thin people who have double chins too though?

thats right shahreen

hmm did i mention that sleeping posture is important and pillow etc

like make sure u dont sleep in a way that ur below chin skin is layering up

I don’t know if these actually work. I tried the first double chin exercise for a week then got bored. I honestly think straight forward cardio will help. Other than that, I don’t know.

To get rid of extra fat in the chin and neck area (and anywhere else on your body for that matter) you have to do more cardio activity.

To tone, here are two simple exercises you can try twice a day, courtesy of Jerry Robinson, research director of Health for Life, a Los Angeles-based health-education organization:

  1. Press your palm to your forehead for 10 seconds while resisting with your head and neck. You should feel your neck and chin tighten. Repeat the movement with your hand on the back of your head, then on each side, with your hand cupped over your ear.

  2. Lift your chin up and open and close your mouth as if you’re chewing. Feel the muscles under your jaw and down the front of your neck tighten.

It’s worth a try! Good luck.

Facial Exercises

Do you find as you age you have lost elasticity and tone in your face? Here are some wonderful exercises to firm and tone the muscles in your face and neck and give you back your youthful appearance.

Help for a Double Chin

Sit upright in a chair and tilt your head back looking at the ceiling, keeping your lips closed and relaxed. Start by puckering your lips together like you’re going to kiss someone, stretch to kiss like you’re trying to kiss the ceiling. Keep your lips puckered while counting to 15 to yourself, then relaxed, bring your head back to normal and repeat five times.

Firm and Lift Your Cheeks and Corners of Mouth

Turn the corners of your mouth upward in big smile as far as possible. Try .to oo make your smile has wide and as big as possible while bobbing your head. Hold this position to the count of 5. Now return your mouth to it’s normal position. 7 Repeat this five times.

Firm Sagging Jowls

Close your mouth and clench your back teeth tightly. Open your mouth as you release the clench. Slowly bring your lower jaw up again until your back molars meet again, and bite down hard. Return your mouth to you relaxed position. Repeat this exercise 10 times

Mehnaz Excersise for the chin.

Puckering up the lips towards the ceiling and holding. It may help and it may also be quite a funny sight in the mirror . I think we should try this holding a hand mirror to see our reflection....hehehe

As long as it does the job thogh right :)

sleep without a pillow, it may take some time getting used to, but it works, and eventually you'll also sleep better :)

Okay asking this is going to sound really gay but here goes.

What about rapidly smiling, kissing, contracting forhead muscles (so that your eyebrows move up n down) and rapidly moving/twitching your ears, for a minute each, work? I made this one up, seems to work fine for me and it's easier to smile at when you want to but someone told me moving the ears gives you a brain tumor, true?
