Smaller windows, lose the add-ons like games, internet explorer, and a few other components, etc..etc...
It can be as quick as 6 mins (from what i've seen someone do it).

In the other tutorial, the program i used nLite, allows you to add/remove components before making an install disc.

Personally, i haven’t done the “quick install”. I’ve almost always opted to wait 20 mins to have it install the usual way.

I would install windows and make a ghost image, Next time it take less then 5 Min to put it back.
On different make and hardware just need to add drivers.

I prefer ghosting it after you install all your mostly used softwares. It can save you even more than what you've mentioned.
