Is there any difference between 5 and 50??

hi i was just wondering is there any real difference between 5 and 50??I dont think so cause 0 has no value. What are your views?

Re: Is there any difference between 5 and 50??

zero has no value  hat teray ki .. muslamanoun ki wahid ijaad per paani pher diya … lol :omg:

frozen:

A gets paid 100 euro

B gets paid an extra zero i.e. 1000

howz the value now?

Re: Is there any difference between 5 and 50??

^ frozen phas gya :omg: … or is frozen a phas gayi :hmmm:

Re: Is there any difference between 5 and 50??

ok but if we literally interpret it?like 0 having no value so what difference would 0 make if there is no 5 before it.

^ don't know if u have anything to do with science/engineering sorta stuff but a single zero can make or break equations which in turn can cause failure of something as huge as NASA's space shuttle launches....

Re: Is there any difference between 5 and 50??

^ yea i know 0 can make or break. It was actually my Physics teacher in High School Mr.Imam-ud-din Babrik.
Students used to call him Bubli Bubli.Hell of a knowledgeable man he was.
I still remember his words. He used to say that words have tendency to lean on one another and interpreting them according to their true spirit is the work of wise and not the fools. He said that newton saw an apple falling down from a true but he closed his eyes when a leaf and small dust particles were rising into the sky.

bubli sounds very wise :k:

Re: Is there any difference between 5 and 50??

The zero in 50 is in the "ones place" and therefore represents zero ones. So inthe number 50, there are "5 tens plus zero ones"

...we've been doing this for boys homework.

ok but dont u think zero ones and zero fiftys are same?both having no substance in their existence

Re: Is there any difference between 5 and 50??

Hitchki and Deeba sound most wise here.so i would like to hear from them too.
thankyou

zero in the ones place is represented as: 0

zero 50s is represented as: 0

so yes...zero in the ones place is the same as zero 50s.

But a 5 inthe tens place and a zero in the ones place is still 50.

:cb:

this is konfoozing!

ok i understand what u are saying but where is one?you are saying zero in one's place.who and where is one?and what is the meaning of one's place.one ka naam likha hua hai ous place pai and also u say 10's place.where is 10's place and who is 10?

Re: Is there any difference between 5 and 50??

so what i am trying to say is that as my great learned teacher imam-ud-din babrik a.k.a bubli bubli said interpretations can vary and it was he who first lodged this in my mind that there is no real difference between 5 and 50.He said there can be unreal difference and i think this one's place and tens'place is that unreal difference what my teacher told me about.

Re: Is there any difference between 5 and 50??

You suffering from a complex mental/visual disorder.
You can’t not relate figures to reality.
To you words/symbols have become entities at their own.

Not a good situation to be in brother. :ast:

To test it further give some one $50 who ask you for $5, if that brings a immediate sadness, you are cure able. if not you are done.

Re: Is there any difference between 5 and 50??

I totally agree , 0 has no value . I always tell my employer to replace 0z with 9z . But he don’t :naraz:

ok.you are wise.now i understood.so what would be your sincere advice to my teacher mr imam-ud-din babrik a.k.a bubli bubli who told that 5 and 50 has no difference and shoved this concept first into my mental conscience ages ago
