Is there an Alle'nora in Islamabad?

If so, where is it and is it any good?

Re: Is there an Alle'nora in Islamabad?

Yeah, there is. I called them but the lady was beign so rude. I asked her how much they charge for bridal makeup and she was like "I can't tell you that over the phone, you have to come meet me first at the salon". And one of my cousin got her makeup from there, and the lady charged her 25k which I think is way too overpriced. I think they charge you according to what they think you are willing to pay because there was no reason for her not to tell me the price on the phone.
Heres the allenora isb number= 03335999572
I don't know the lady's name but shes the head of the ISB branch.

Re: Is there an Alle'nora in Islamabad?

^ Hey I saw this group on FB and they said that Allenora charges vary on who does the makeup..normal makeup artists charge 20,000 rps and Anni herself charges around 40-50,000 rps i think..i've emailed them to ask though, will post what they advise me :)

Re: Is there an Alle'nora in Islamabad?

yea, 20,000 is the norm I think for Depilex and Daniellas in Isloo.

Re: Is there an Alle'nora in Islamabad?

I think charges of all services including any kind of makeup at Alle'nora by Annie Mansoor would be same in any city.

Re: Is there an Alle'nora in Islamabad?

Hey girls! Thought id revive this thread particularly for Stardust09 and share my recent experiences of Allenora Islamabad :) My sister in law got ready from them on both the baraat and walima day..and they did an amazing job! Everyone was raving about her makeup..Lehmia is the head makeup artist and the girl really knows what she's doing! I got ready from Allenora on my engagement which was the same day as my brothers walima..however i didnt tell them it was my engagement as I didnt want heavy makeup and pay the extra charges for engagement makeup which is around. 14,000 Rs.

Baraat Day: Lehmia went for a very traditional look on my bhabhi, heavy glittery eyes (signature Allenora look) and beautiful red lips. I was quite concerned about the MUA's there being pushy, which they are to a certain extent but only as far as advising you on what looks good. If you really do not like something then it will be changed for you. My bhabhi paid 20,000 Rs for the first day

Walima Day: My bhabhi was wearing baby pink..the makeup was gorgeous! It looked flawless and i actually preferred the Walima day makeup. Lehmia uses brands such as MAC and Loreal which was nice to see! Hairstyles done were also good, i would recommend taking flowers etc for your hair yourself if you want them as part of the hairstyle as the hair stylists dont offer anything of their own accord. We took rose shaped hair clips and pins for my Bhabhi - red & gold for the wedding and silver & pink for the Walima :) We paid 22,000 Rs for the second day

Party Makeup: Atia (Lehmia's sister) did my part makeup and Lehmia added the finishing touches. Again i was very impressed with her work, she used a Mac base and Bobbi Brown products also. I was against using fake eyelashes and Atia said 'Ok that fine, its your choice' and i requested her to use a liquid base rather than stick which she agreed.
Lol then Lehmia arrived and said 'Dont worry i'll add eyelashes that will look natural' - which she did and they looked exactly that natural. My makeup lasted ALL day and evening and my hair was curled and backcombed which lasted aswell. Cost me 5,000 Rs

Their pre -wedding services are good also, my bhabhi had her facials and waxing done from there and was happy with the service. So overall a good experience, professional and satisfying.

One major tip though..GO ON TIME!!
On the Baraat day my bhabhi was the only bride getting ready from them so that was fine, but on the Walima there were around 7/8 brides! BUT we came extra early lol, even the MUA's had not arrived when we got there ;) But it worked out perfect as we could both get ready araam se without any worries or tension and the MUA could devote the time to us that we'd paid for! So always go on time..alot of the girls were late and the receptionist was calling them to chase them up!

I am definitely thinking of booking Allen'ora for my wedding Inshallah next year..and i hope they have a photographer by that time as they dont offer one at present. Hope my long essay is of use! :) x

sorry butt i dnt like it not just a bad make over but the shoot as well they should maintain their standards couple a months back they were good
