Of course there is :
For a pace bowler...you can hurl an express delivery like a javelin-thrower (aka Shoaib Akhtar)
For a spinner.... you can get that extra bend of the arm to slip in a doosra (e.g. Muralitharan)
btw, Shabbir Ahmed does not need to get his action corrected. He needs to be banned from cricket. He is the chucker of all chuckers. I mean it is so damn friggin obvious that he chucks...every single delivery of his...that it is a shame he continues to be considered for selection. And please I am not saying this because he is a Paki bowler and I am an Indian.
