Am trying to find this song for someone, “Gham hai ya khushi hai tau”. i know Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan sang a version of this. Is there any version of this that is sung by a female singer, someone whose name begins with F? My friend thought it was Fariha Pervaiz, but i don’t THINK she sang this. Is there another female singer who sang this one?

Second question… Anyone would happen to know whether this is from a movie or a drama and if so, which one.

IF possible, lyrics would be much appreciated but if not - just knowing which female singer sang this - would help a great deal. Thanks in advance to any kind-hearted soul.

Cool seher.

Nadia, it was sung by a female singer probably in late seventies or early eighties (the black and white era).... it is one of the classics.

I am sorry ,I don't remember the name.

Gham hai ya khushi was sung by Alka Yagnik in movie Kartoos. You can listen to it on this page. :slight_smile:

Kartoos is the film starring Manisha Koirala and Sunjay Dutt. Very sweet song and is filmed well also.
