Western clothes have a casual style, but also have a professional style. For men it’s suits, khakis, slacks, conservative colored shirts and dress shoes. For women it’s slacks, dark colored skirt suits, etc. Do they have something similar in Kameez Shalwar too which is considered work appropriate? Do office workers and professionals wear kameez shalwar to work in Pakistan?
Re: Is there a professional style for kameez shalwars for men and women?
I guess the professional look would be your standard shalwar kameez suit, sober colours, very little/no embroidery, regular knee length kameez and matching dupatta.
For work it's very simple cuts and subdued, single colors. Minimal prints and embellishments..
