is there a difference between blind faith and blind nationalism?

or blind patriotism, i really don’t see any difference, publicly executing/humiliating or looking down upon another human being b/c they’ve done something immensely sinful in the eyes of their religion and blindly supporting cruel/unjust wars/acts by their country…how are the two any different?

Re: is there a difference between blind faith and blind nationalism?

there is lot of difference espically if you take Islam because Islam is against Nationalism it stand for right and wrong it stands for Islam and Kuffar either you are a muslim or you stand by kafirs butt than even if you are a non muslim or kafir we cant attack you untill you try to attack us or speak rubbish against Islam to make muslims angry our main duty is to preach Islam without any biasness

Re: is there a difference between blind faith and blind nationalism?

^i think you misunderstood, maybe i worded my first comment wrong

i mean if a religion said that homosexuals should be public executed for being who they are would you blindly follow such things? or would you see him/her as a human being and see that that is in fact discrimination and prejudice against people that can't help being gay. i'm not talking about any particular religion here.

i'm trying to relate that same issue with blind nationalism, blindly supporting every one of your country's actions good or bad regardless of human suffering and pain.
