Hey guys so I thought it be smart to just invest in the MAC 15 eyeshadow palette therefore I can buy the “cheaper” depotted eyeshadows and just keep them. However now I keep thinking, I travel a lot, and therefore would have to carry that “whole” palette with me wherever I go when I just wanna take one or two eyeshadows with me. Also the plastic top might “crack” during travel also it is a “large” palette. However when I’m home of course is when it would come in handy.
Therefore is it worth it? Or should I just stick to the the pro-pans. Oh and I don’t plan on buying a lot probably will own max 15 of the MAC eyeshadows.
I did buy a 15 pan years ago but ended up selling it on ebay (this is before normal stores or the website carried them). I found it too cumbersome for my personal usage. I find lots of empty 4-pans much more useful. For example, I have one which is 4 shadows for everyday wear which I keep at hand along with the rest of everyday makeup. Travelling is also an issue for me. When I go on short trips, I just take one or two 4-pans with carefully selected colours. They are easier to transport as well. Having said all that, my looks are quite neutral.
I have 4 15-pan palettes which holds most of my shadows and a few in pots. I don't mind the palettes at all and find the organization useful. However, Stoppit's idea of using the 4-pan palettes is also great and something I'd recommend if you find the 15-pan too bulky.
