Is Tariq Amin developing a stutter / halting speech ?

Watch the first few minutes of his intro.

I have never seen this happen to him before.

Felt bad for him as it was a little shocking, unexpected and awkward.

He was fine later on.

[The other guy is the Indian actor Ally Khan who was in Don 2 and has also acted in a Pakistani soap from ARY, I believe. He didn’t have good things to say about his Pakistani work experience.]

Well that was awkward and embarrasing

Re: Is Tariq Amin developing a stutter / halting speech ?

Errmm where does this part come? Dont have the patience to watch 26 minutes of the video :/

Re: Is Tariq Amin developing a stutter / halting speech ?

Right on his intro. First 4-5 minutes.

Re: Is Tariq Amin developing a stutter / halting speech ?

For a flamboyant guy like him, it must be very painful.

Re: Is Tariq Amin developing a stutter / halting speech ?

Lol he isn’t suffering from a stutter, he has just developed that annoying manner of pausing whilst making weird hand movements to come across all “articulate”. He has gained a lot of weight though :hoonh:

Re: Is Tariq Amin developing a stutter / halting speech ?

I hated the guy's suggestion that Pakistan should take the route of Iranian cinema. Hello, we've been following the same format in ALL South Asian countries, why should Pakistan somehow stop that and not make musicals with playback singing and all?

Re: Is Tariq Amin developing a stutter / halting speech ?

i think he got confused wht 2 say

Re: Is Tariq Amin developing a stutter / halting speech ?

because we are horrible at it! actually I agree with him, we have brilliant writers and our dramas of late are proof of that, they do just fine without the thumkas and gana bajana...if a seasoned writer like Sarmad Sehbai wrote a solid screenplay for the big screen it'll be a big smash i'm sure, his drama 'jal pari' was proof of that, it had all the elements of parallel cinema.

regarding his speech, i think he was just flustered the first few mins, fine after that.
