I would hate to be the child of a random sperm donor, not even knowing who my father is, its horrible.
You are absolutely right! Everyone has THE NEED to know who they belong to.
I think it was last year that the girl who was the FIRST EVER "test tube" baby turned 25. She definitely had issues on not knowing her past.
How terrible.

…I don’t know about other countries, but in USA isn’t it that college guys donate so they can just get some cash in return?
I mean, imagine they would be haunted for being responsible for each donation… later on… in that case it was so not worth getting “some” temp cash cause now he would be RAISING the world!
Also, in USA at least (I think I know from The Oprah show) that women never know the real person. The guys name is not reveled unless of course the guy agrees to it. The guy also has no responsibilities of the woman’s choices she makes using the donated sperm.
there was bill in US too but not successful, many European countries including UK revoked such ban by law and children can find out the identity of the bio father /mother once they reach 18 years old of age.

Then in that case, many donors will back up!
I mean who wants trouble after 18 years when you have your own house full with 5 kids!
