Nationalization was a tool to get popular through staffing the nationalized institutions and organizations with cronies and jiyalas. Its a ‘norm’ with PPP. Filling up state run enterprises with jiyalas to the extent that they break down. PIA is a case in point. Either you need to be a jiyala or an ex-army man to find a job there.
