Is Simrah Islamic name?

I would like to know if “Simrah” is Islamic name.

And also on what conditions one should suspect that the name of baby does not suite and we should change the name? I would like what is the Islamic way for choosing a baby name? what are the some basic things to consider when suggesting name for baby? I know few like the name should be worth meaning, it’s should be Islamic. What are the other conditions keep in mind while suggesting/selecting name for baby?

I have heard it quite often, especially from turk og kurdish people.

Usually it is spelled Semra ..

Again, what exactly is an "Islamic" name? A name's a name. Too many 'muslims' are focusing on petty things like "what's the islamic way to rename a baby" instead of focusing on what really counts.
