no…the intent was not to draw parallels.
I was thinking out loud…considering why we might expect a short documentary that would not have the backing a box office hit had, to have impact on a wider scale.
maybe I was trying to say the same thing that you have said.

I think that as far as social impact is concerned, documentaries are far more effective (should it be effective or affective?) than commercial movies. Supersize me, fahrenheit 911 and Blackfish caused a huge stir than any any commercial movie that I could remember. No?
