We booked to stay at the Best Western in a special offer but are now worried because someone told us Santa Ana is a "ghetto" and not safe for tourists. Is this true??? Please help us confused Brits; thanks!

There have alot of great beaches near Santa Ana like these Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Corona del Mar State Beach and Long Beach etc. All of them Laguna beach is my favorite one!!
