Is religiosity an Addiction?

Does for some people, religion is a refuge to shy away from problems of life and take up the chanllenges they are supposed to take?

Re: Is religiosity an Addiction?

Re: Is religiosity an Addiction?

Religion is indeed a refuge from inherent 'problems' of our existence and that is the purpose of our creation. However, taking refuge is not analogous to 'shying' away from the problem themselves. It is more like accepting the help of religion in our everyday matters (problems). We humans require a constant guide and that guide is Islam.

The logic that is inherent in the Quran, if you dare to read it discarding your myopic view of the world.

Re: Is religiosity an Addiction?

your questions is two fold . the topic is way different from the content .
yes religosity is an addiction . it keeps growing unless there's some stoppage .

refuge , maybe to some people , but not to all . it is more like a practise,
a path chosen by the believers

Re: Is religiosity an Addiction?

the point where it becomes a refuge , a man becomes useless machine
