Is Religion Hard or Easy?

I think the teachings/orders of religion is softer and easy for us to follow but whenever we find anything harder in our religion then that is due to any external reason. I believe that external reason is our blind love to any worldly things. Otherwise there is no issue to follow the teachings and obeying the orders in our religion.

I can't say about other religions but Islam is a religion of fitra...means its practices come naturally to humans. Although, people who try practicing it often face hardships and persecution, especially in non-muslim lands and sometimes in muslim lands too. There's even a hadith that says in the end times holding on to religion would be equal to holding onto a hot coal.

Let me explain by giving my example. When I'm late for any Namaaz then its oky but whenever i'm late to my office, I feel kinda embarrassment that all me colleague are arrived on time and i'm the last one. Similar to that if my boss ask me do this or that work even though i don't wish to do i'm bound to do b'coz it is order of my boss but what about the order of my Lord? and if I am obeying the order of my boss then why? <---- this "why" bothered me a lot and caused me to astray from right path b'coz its lead me towards worldly affairs not towards my religion. That is why I think, those who say teaching of religion is harder they depends a lot on worldly affairs rather then depending on Almighty Allah.

I read a hadith but don't remember exact context but it states rush for upcoming namaaz, maybe it is ur last namaaz and who knows u'll be alive to read next namaaz or not and here I see myself, planned for future that i'll do this and that.

Well the more knowledge u hv, the greater will be your fear of Allah swt. Mostly we find things easy which we really want to have from the bottom of our heart. So when we really want to reach Jinnah then religion is easy for us.. it just depends on what is important for us and wht is not...
