IK was always military’s man (with an exception of brief period when he jumped on CJ bandwagon). He supported 1999 coup & was doing bangra for Mush on streets for his fake referendum in 2000.

PTI and its international play boy leader has replaced JI which traditionally towed the line of military and acted as B-team for military for decades. What went wrong with JI and military is a mystery.
