After the 2nd ODI in Rawalpindi , POwar has proven to be the discovery for the Indian Team, He bowled well and batted with enormous confident, what do u poeple think , is he going to be one in the line of allrounders like Chris Cairns, Abdul Razzaq, Shoaib Malik, Shahid Afridi etc. ?
Yeah, if he loses like 50 lbs by the next match on Friday. He loks like a football ki ball. Goal Guppa. Reminds me of Duleep Mendis.
no..too early to say...and he was not exactly convincing against Shoaib..all the fours he scored off Shoaib were tukkas..
I personally think the confidence he was playing with was very very enough for a gutsy batsman, on the other hand actually my illogical observation, his looks are like sachin Tandulkar ;)

He looks like a decent hitter (of slow bowling at least) and an ordinairy spinner who will probably get pulverised in the next match.
i dont think so. he was playing as if he is scared or something. didn't you see how he was leaving the wicket wide open when akhtar /sami were bowling him? ankhain band kar ke mar rahay thay and it was expected in the last overs anyway!

He is one of those mediocre all rounders that India has beedn producing since Kapil retired.
He will be thrashed all over park if he plays next ODI.He could be useful with bat though. But then India needs a bolwing all rounder

well whether he has the skill and the temperament for int'l cricket will only be found out if he is played on a regular basis. One match is simply insufficient to judge a player's calibre.
I must say though that I was very impressed with the fighting spirit of not just Powar but also Balaji's. When India were 8 down, I thought we had the match all wrapped up (as did most Pak fans I reckon). But these tailenders really gave us a scare with their gutsy hitting.
I dont know if he will be the next great all rounder that India produces but i tell you one thing

Yeah. He was irritatingly fast for the Pakistani fans. 
The only threat I can see him posing to anyone would be the "all you can eat" buffet restaurants.

he definately has talent. He played a superb shot on slower ball of shoaib. Similar delievery got kaif out.
