Is poetry good?

[SindSagar]

@omairhr

I heard poetry makes a nation weak. It is an art form which is of no practical use. The evidence given suggests that ‘poetry’ and ‘painting’ were always the two most prized art forms before collapse of a civilization i.e. greek, japanese, roman, greek and mughal.

What do you think?

The 1965 War with India was atleast on the home front Won by the songs of…Noor Jehan…:k:

Also all of the Holy Quran is Poetry…communicated by the Creator!
