Nice to see how people won’t accept sahih ahadith simply because it conflicts with their likes and chosen lifestyles… ![]()

Re: Is playing a guitar really unislamic?
WELL if the moors (who were supposed to have one of the greatest islamic civilisations a 1000 years ago) were the ones who introduced the guitar to the western world.....it couldnt have been banned then could it ???????!!

Then answer the questions I have asked, which no one was able to answer, on the thread I posted above.

Re: Is playing a guitar really unislamic?
^^ thats gotta b BS man.. music is the food of shaitan wtf? music is PLEASURABLE dude.. its good for your ears.. it has so many positive influences on your health also... its soothing... relaxing.. and has many other uses (depending on what kind of music it is) I guess its the radicalized taliban version of Islam that strongly condems music.. stop promoting that **** man :(
*I'm going back to listening David Guetta*
Imaamul Aarifeen, Qudwatul Ulama, Abu Ali Ruhaazi (rahmatullah alayh) responded beautifully to the following question which was posed to him: ‘A person enjoys himself with musical instruments and claims that this is permissible for him because he had attained such a position where changing states do not have any affect on him.’ He responded to this question: ‘Yes, he has indeed attained a position. But that is in Jahannum.”
Re: Is playing a guitar really unislamic?
Why even ask this question? Everything normal is outlawed in taliban version of islam.

well then also tell him never to watch tv again.
Re: Is playing a guitar really unislamic?
what i understood from your post was that because so many people are listening or creating music in so many different ways it can't possibly be considered bad in islam. there was a while back a remarkable statistical analysis of how there are more non muslims than muslims in the world so if we go by that standarad(majority wala) islam doesn't ring a bell to begin with.
Re: Is playing a guitar really unislamic?
OK FINE then lets go back a 1000 years.no tv no popular music etc . my earlier post:
WELL if the moors (who were supposed to have one of the greatest islamic civilisations a 1000 years ago) were the ones who introduced the guitar to the western world.....it couldnt have been banned then could it ???????!!
Re: Is playing a guitar really unislamic?
we are not talking about baning something, we are talking understanding on individual level. Your quoted post has a big if first of all in the begining and secondly you can only look upto to Prophet saw as an example while meriting things on religious basis ,not muslims generally. Muslims are fallible like the rest of human species.
Re: Is playing a guitar really unislamic?
its not an if. it was introduced by the moors.
anyway u go ahead and do whatever u want this topic is rather boring now. the only thing i regret is that mr syedabdualah and his mate will be chucking away the guitar for no good reason.
