:salam2:
Pakistan is the land where you’ll find peoples from different faith i.e. Hinduism, Sikh, Christian etc., but they all are Pakistani. So whenever there is any International Competition related to sport, art, education, fashions, etc., the whole Pakistan pray for their National players or for the participants for winning.
If Pakistan wins than the whole country celebrate right? My question is have you ever heard, read in news that few Pakistani from different faith i.e. Muslims or Hindus or Sikhs or Christians etc., are fighting with each other b’coz they believe if the Pakistan is won than it is won due to the prayers of theirs particular group’s faith? Or have you ever heard that peoples of difference provinces fighting each others b’coz they believe that success of Pakistan was due to that Punjabi, Sindhi, Pathan or Balochi player? No.
As far I remember I never heard except that “Is parcham ke saai taly hum aik hain hum aik hain”
So I think, the root of the terrorist attack i.e suicide attacks, gun-fires, in Pakistan are from external affairs not internal.
What you say
Re: Is Parcham ke Saai Taly....
Well we all wish that , its that simple and true , but unfortunately grass is not that green . Its not that we are divided politically , but ethnically and religiously . We have a loooong way to go . Lets see when we take first step towards it .
Re: Is Parcham ke Saai Taly....
I don't think so we are divided but we are forced to be divided. Most of the top role either play it in positive or negative is the 'media'. If the 'media' plays postitive role then we'll get closer to each otherwise. If 'media' plays negative role than its like forcing upon us to be divided.
Re: Is Parcham ke Saai Taly....
sadly, its really not that crystal clear, yes, external powers provoke things and create chaos across Pakistan, but its just internally we are so divided that we are letting external powers take full advantage of the situation. I think we only get united under one flag when there are cricket matches :(
if everyone gets united from KP-to Sindh, we can come out of this mess, but its just not that simple, especially when people who are sitting in high ups are not sincere with their land and its people. I strongly believe there is nothing that bad about Pakistan, that cant be fixed!!If everyone starts to work for a better Pakistan, then InshaAllah we will see fruits of it perhaps not tomorrow, but 10 years down the road, we will see a better progressive Pakistan!
as for media, I think our media is independent and vibrant, our press is freer and our voices are louder than they were ten years ago. however, on the other hand our media is immature and irresponsible as well.(yes, there are exceptions) I Think channel heads and anchors need to rethink when they are giving air time to those who do hate speech and promote propaganda, PEMRA needs to step into this mess and issue penalties to all those who promote hatred and fabricate reports. they need to show the brighter side of Pakistan and move away from this sensationalist mentality.
and the western media, I have stopped caring what they say about my country, whether they call 180 million Pakistanis radicals, jihadist, dangerous, its doesnt affect me anymore, they are taking a small section of our society who are not even 1% and make it look like the whole of Pakistan is like that, just insane, they can carry on their propoganda, we know what we are!!
Re: Is Parcham ke Saai Taly....
We can't blame on those pplz who sitting in high ups. Once i read a book of Dr. Younis Butt where he wrote "There are two ways of fishing (1) Jump into the river and swim behind the fish till you catch it (2) throw the net and wait till the fish by its own get into trap".
So the pplz who sitting in high ups using the second way :) If fish criticize now for being trapped into net than thats not 'pplz sitting high ups' fault but its fish's fault b'coz seeing trap clearly, going towards its blindly is simply insane.
