i did imply that desi culture, (and im more specifically pointing at muslim culture) did not treat bahus and wives with appreciation, kindness, and encouragement in pichli sadi but now they are moving away from it and it isnt as much the case anymore people today are increasingly appreciative of their wives and bahus for keeping home

i never mentioned hindu culture i just said that “unappreciative-ness” (which is not even a word lol) shouldnt be a part of muslim culture by the same token it shouldnt be part of any culture at all be it hindu, sikh, christian or muslim

I was trying to understand your use of naukrani. There appeared to be an unsaid concession that desi culture does not treat naukranis well. Was curious to know if this was due to Hindu influence or if this is native to desi culture.
