No, but in any case England will be number 2 at the end of series.

England wins 3-0, they will be 119, Pak will be 112
England wins 2-0, they will be 117, Pak will be 114

Pakistan is not even close to Australia and did not beat Australia a single test match since before 1999 rather we lost badly. If we play vs Australia, we always struggle and make like 150 runs against them especially in final while other teams like South Africa, Sri Lanka, India and England are not like that. *In ODIs, I might agree for Pakistan being the 2nd best but in test matches, not for sure. *

If England has Jones, Freddie and Vaughn back and Pakistan has Akhtar, Asif, Navaid, Malik and Asim back. Pakistan will be No. 2 again. Inshallah. Although its a very close call.

^ During 2005, England did have that squad and Pakistan minus Asif and Asim defeated them comprehensively. Jones was the only person England was missing and I do not think he would have made any difference.

What current form??? We have baten them in their own backyard and even Aussies find it difficult to beat them at home MOST of the times so how can they be better than us??? Only if Murali gets injured, they will struggle to even beat a $hit team like India huh

What a clown...we didnt beat Sri Lanka...we slaughtered them and we did that in Sri Lanka...
Our injuries came suddenly...so we've had no time to adjust...Flintoff would have come in for Collingwood who was established anyway...Vaughan and Jones have been gone for ages so why are they still talking about that...Vaughan might never even play again...and as another point batsmen are easier to replace than bowlers...

A spin bowler needs support from his pacemen which poor Danish didnt get becuase some idiot was bowling badly at the other end...Rana Naveed had the best figures in country cricket as regards to strike rate and wickets...he was supposed to have an excellent series...Asif is another one who would have loved these conditions...Gul and Nazir a poor mans Asif...look how Asif decimated the Lankans and England...and Shoiab is our spearhead...instead we had to settle for an unpredictable Sami...

Its a bad series...Sri Lanka are on form...that doesnt make them a bad team...For is temporary...Class is permanent...
