I hear different things. My opinion is that Pakistan isn’t poor, but also not wealthy.
People here from Pakistan ore overseas what do u say? How is the condition there and what do u think about the economy of PAkistan?
Are they rich or poor and what do u think in the next 20 years will be going happen?

Pakistan is poor. Has the capability to be richer.
Next 20 years depend on whether people start to give something to the country before demanding security and comfort, which I do not foresee happening.

yup it is....it may not look that poor to ppl like me as i have lived a very good life in pakistan but the bitter reality is that pak is a poor country and inshallah soon it will get over the poverty...ameen.

i believe its from which angle u are looking at the country. someone who always visits posh areas of pak will get a wealthy image of pakistan.

Well if you look at stats such as GDP Pakistan doesn't list very highly. However with the right policies and control over terrorism Pakistan has masses of potential, and will be in the league of BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) countries.
Currently?
Do you want to know how many suicides have been reported of those parents who did not have enough to feed their children, those young men who did not have jobs / work to support their families, those young men & womens who thought that their needs were a burden on their families?
Do you want to know how many beggars (which includes beautiful children who should be going to schools) you see now more than ever before in the local markets, outside eating places, roads streets, etc.?
Do you want to know about the increasing number of people who are forced to sell their kidney / other body parts, the increasing number of people who’ve sold their small children in order to feed / support their families?
Do you want to know how many labourers have lost work they used to have on daily wages because all the industries are dead due to load-shedding?
Do you want to know how inflation in already broke economy of Pakistan has deteriorated standards of living of the people?
Do you want to know how the basic necessities of life have disappeared from the markets of this country?
The government......... not only Pak government but the American government should try something different in for a change............ stop the war & make peace. Try to 'construct' things for others instead of making it impossible for others to survive.
