Look this is not an answer to my question Now I am asking directly if all muslims are with bin laden and they are declaring a world war against all group of people than what will you do?

I do not have any proof other than git pit of the media about him being terrorist and all... so, neither I can say if he is actually behind all those terrorist acts nor I can exclude him being a suspect.. nevertheless, he is not my leader...

secondly, he can't be Jesus:

  • because, he did not descend from heavens with angels onto the eastern minaret of Jamia Masjid Damishq at the time when Imam Mehdi had come and was about to lead prayers of Faj'r in the same mosque right at that time...

He can't be Imam Mehdi:

  • because Imam Mehdi will live all his life in Madinah according to the hadeeth narrated by Umm-e-Salma (RA) .. and that he will be recognized as Imam Mehdi in Hateem area of Masjid-ul-Haraam Ka'abatullah.... Imam Mehdi will not hide in mountains of Afghanistan....

Presume OBL is innocent...what other qualities aside from being a failed political leader does this man possess which even merits a comparison to Jesus' excrement?

On a serious note another difference between Jesus and OBL is that Jesus is never reported to have sex or fathered any children. But cheers up some other prophets come to my mind who were very active in this regard and I am sure if one of the guppies one day give similiraties between those prophets and known terrorists you will cry foul. Hint: Danish cartoons.

I agree, the title is bit misleading…I am also aware of the criteria of how Isa :as: will descend…Perhaps the title should have been ‘the similarities of persecution between Osama and Jesus’…

My question was simple and based on Quran’s Ayah:

And none of you answered the final questions in my initial post…

Look at the example of the Jews in Germany…Supposedly 6 million Jews were annihilated on the basis of lies told by someone…Were the Jews really as was claimed by the Nazis? What would make a German, who was neighbours with a Jew for generations, turn on him? Were the Germans involved in mass hysteria that would resort to slaughtering millions? What made them go nuts?

That’s where Islam draws the line and the Quran instructs us to verify for ourselves before we indulge in persecution based on hearsay…

And as for those who think that Jesus’ message was all love and peace should study the New Testament…here are a few verses:

Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. My question was, would you, as a Jew in Jesus’ time, have turned against him or stood with him? More important question to many Muslims here is, would you have stood as an unbeliever against the Holy Prophet :saw: or become a believer? But that is not what I am asking…

Today I know many Muslims who curse and abuse Osama Bin Laden based on mere theories and what they have been shown on TV or the media…Even today in mainstream news he is always referred to as ‘suspected’…

based on the Ayah above, and given you call yourselves Muslims, how can you come to call someone as a culprit based on the testimony of those who have been proven liars again and again…

And true, Osama Bin Laden does not have any miracles to show…But, in an age when so-called Muslims, who profess to follow the Quran do not pray one time let alone five times a day raise a finger towards someone who left his home, his millions, his comforts and everything he ever possessed to fight for a people who he doesn’t even know? How many of you will care if your neighbour down he street had enough to eat? I know I won’t…

And keep in mind, this same terrorist was a glorious Mujahideen when he was fighting the Russians…At that time no one cared what methods he or other Mujahideen used to inflict damage upon America’s enemies…They were fighting the right fight at that time…But now they are evil terrorists…

Most of your answers already give away your intentions, so the question still stands: Would you have persecuted Jesus if you were a Jew based on what your elders would have said? Would you have verified? Would you have cast the first stone upon Jesus?

I cannot say "I'm with Osama bin Laden" as I personally don't know him but the mindset and actions of his followers are against Islamic teachings and thats why I don't support him or his followers.

I don't know if its right to judge a leader by its followers but thats all we can do is to look at the leader's followers when we don't have the leader invisible to us.

All the versus you have given above are without reference, to check them out I goggled them, and found that it’s all out of context. Anyway fellow guppie “The Old Man” may come and defend the bible verses.

Getting back on the topic, how do you suggest that we personaly check if OBL has done anything wrong or not. Using your logic we should deny all which we are not witness of. Cool.

And don’t forget, Jesus was also framed…And if a Prophet of Allah :swt: can be framed despite so many witnessed miracles, what chance do you think a normal scapegoat would have against today’s propaganda machines?
