Nawaz Shareef is not changed. Him and his brother thinks of themselves as kings. His ego prevents him from even showing up in the court, for appeal. His brother, just two days back, visited a hospital, and suspended the whole staff, because of uncleaness there. So who will run things in that hospital, the idiot would'nt care. Its the same way Nawaz Shareef use to handle complains in his televised "darbari" sessions, where he fired many, without investigation.
Remember the media we had in those black days, where the whole "khabernama" was scripted to praise the governemnt in power. If that was not enough, they use to run another half an hour show, just to put the remaining ministers in camera, so people can see their "good work". The rest of the political shows were designed to malign the opposition, giving them no chance to defend themselves. Even when PPP was in power, they used Karachi law and order situation, for their political gains. Instead of catching and putting the accusers on trial, they catch people from opposition part (MQM in this case) and instead of putting them on trial, they put them on TV. Can you imagine those shows, where mqm persons held press conference, admitting to all crimes that they did. Why do we have courts then, if government is killing people outside law, and using the rest as their political advertisement. Judiciary played no role in their previous government and they talk about free judiciary now. Well Nawaz does, Zardari does'nt seem to care much.
You do realize, you are using his references from his time in power 10-15 years ago to counter the argument that hes a changed man
The worst thing about Nawaz’s time in power was their shortlived alliance with the Karachi based ethnic militant party, the MQM, but that seems to have changed now.
Should I hope atleast Shahbaz Shareef is a changed man now, in last 12 hours or so.
Have you heard that joke, that Nawaz Shareef used to stop his car in mall road lahore, just to eat a channa-bhatura plate from an old man, who was making it since NS's childhood. When someone from anti-Nawaz suggested that it may be because Nawaz's IQ level matched with the guy, the person who was most offended by this remarks was the channa-bhatura oldman.
Oh and is that why you fear the low IQ guy so much, and hes the only one whose becoming a thorn in the dictatorship? Also, your joke was probably invented by the 'chooran walla maskhara in London', because theres no such thing as channa-bhutara in Mall Road Lahore.

actually its channa-phatura in old city area. Gentleman's name Ilyas Azeem. You happy now?
Robert yar, just let it go your jokes not funny, and its obviously badly crafted, they dont refer to any such dish as bathura or pathura. Also, your joke doesnt live up, I mean if I eat drink chai from a theila in peshawar, does that mean my IQ level is the same as that chai maker?
Let me be the 1st one to predict that we'll be having elections in near future and NS & his PMLN will win. Now the question is has NS learned anything from his past?[EMAIL="[email protected]"]
I see it differently. PML-N has always been the favorite of the army. PPP was generally considered to be anti-army and anti-establishment and in all elections, Army helped the PML-N to rig the results against PPP. In last elections, there was little support for PML-N from the army and there was the additional factor of PML-Q and hence PML-N could not win.
PPP, despite what people (including Imran Khan) will say, did not get elected because people wanted PPP to restore the judiciary or to remove the president. PPP has its own vote bank and people loyal to PPP will keep on voting for PPP. I have high doubt that, without the support of the army, PML-N will be able to sweep the elections.
well no one changed in Pakistan politics, they are all same old crooks, NS is egoistic with no IQ for a leader at all. they believed in "wah wah" then and they both believe in "wah wah" now. choti tind back to his old ways like a local district administrator roaming around with all media to cover his "outstanding" you are suspended, you are fired acheivments and medlling with lower operational level task of the government that are carried out by assigned departments, not directly by CM.
CM or PM should provide stretigic leadership and govern by broader policies.
But then she never came to power and killed in bomb blast. There is external environment which has forced existing Paki politicians to change. Mush is still there, judges are not restored, and hardliners like IK and JI are toned down. Arch rivals PPP, MQM and PML (N) are in coalition government, no one ever thought of this kind of attitude from these politicians a decade ago. There is continuous whipping on behind of these politicians and dictators to behave.

Does this 'they are all' include our great dictator turned politician?
^^^ well good or bad, he still not changed he is same old musharraf with or without uniform. I dont think many humans have capability to change their own nature, crooks are always crooks at lower or higher level.

But she showed her same cunning politics, dealing with Mushy to gain power and what not, so I think she was till the same old Bibi. The behavior you are seeing is not because of "external pressure" on politicians, rather their tail is held with the NRO and Mush's presence. The day Mush is gone from the scene we will see same old leg pulling, right now they have one-common-enemy. We have already seen how the relationship of PPP and MQM is working, sour.
