The Maternity Benefit Ordinance, 1958 stipulates that upon the completion of four months employment or qualifying period, a worker may have up to six weeks prenatal and postnatal leave during which she is paid a salary drawn on the basis of her last pay. The Ordinance is applicable to all industrial and commercial establishments employing women excluding the tribal areas. It also places restrictions on the dismissal of the woman during her maternity leave. Similarly, the Mines Maternity Benefit Act, 1941 is applicable to women employed in the mines in Pakistan

I think Mods should lock this thread in order to keep the sanity intact among guppies. One obsessed guppy, Ali Usman keep talking about Nadia Khan's pregnancy and her show - for the show we already have a thread where Ali Usman can give updates post after post about Nadia's show. And regarding talk about her pregnancy, other guppies agrees as well that we should really respect Nadia's condition and close this thread.

Iman ali was on nks yesterday guys its was her second interview on nks...she talked about what asad had said about iman on nadia's show. i didn't get to see the whole thing if someone has it PLEASE upload it...

asad malik..the actor...he said on her show that he considered abid ali his mentor and he is like his father...and nadia said to him that "khair aisai to nahi kahain aap uss aadmi nai apni beitee ko poocha tak nahi uss kee beimaari mein" and he was like "nahi mein abid ali ko inside out jaanta hoon and whatever happened is iman's fault not him" or something like that...u can watch asad's interview on vidpk.com
