nope..i installed the firewall long time ago

and i juz checked…it says “You are currently NOT connected to .NET Messenger Service”

If the computer is slowing down, then virus(es)/spyware(s) could be the reason.

One possibilty is the automatic update of firewall software and in such an event, the previous settings were overridden and your messenger is blocked in the firewall, which seems mostly the case, if and only if computer is now slowing down.

this is what it says in my Firewall about msn

“This application has Full Access to the Internet. It is possible for this application to send and receive data with any computer.”

Check that the system date is current. And what version of MSN are u trying to run?

Mcafee anti-virus thing is gay as hell i swear

my dad bought these three CDz which i installed…and now this dumb arse thing says there’s no antivirus or antispam installed…so then wut the hell is the firewall there for :mad:
