Is Moh Sami a Better(Much better)Version of Ata-Ur-Rehman?

This has been bugging me sice the India series earlier this yr…he seems to have few things similar to Ata, who mostly just seem to bang the ball on ground, mostly short of a good length and was very predictable…same is with sami who mosty seems to put the ball a little fuller than Ata but has been becoming predictable day by day…both Sami and Ata have kindaa similar action with just not w whole lot of back and Mid body being involved in their run-ups and delivery actions…both just seem to run in and bowl with using their shoulders and less of beding of their backs…

So is sami just a Better Version of Ata, what do u guys think?

^^well ji i would say drop this guy.he needs to be dropped for few tournments atleast 5 tournments he should be axed.then u would c his version won't be like Atta.

thats a great comparison. never really thought abt it. both are useless

I think Ata's style was a more complicated one, he had lots of upper body movement while Sami's much smoother action. Both are useless IMHO.

What Sami has achieved in two years, Ata couldnt do in 7-8 years.

Sami's action is a lot smoother while Ata was just had some screwed up delivery action. Sami bowling resembles Aaqib more than Ata IMO. Only that Sami is pacier.

sami's action might be like Aaqib but he is no way the standard bowler that Aaqib was. Aaqib Javed was awesome and he really thought before he bowlerd every bowl. unlike same who can't even control his line

and about ata, sami is definetly better

sami is very young and i am sure he has a lot to offer plus he is very useful on western pitches, his county season very well so i think he will come back good but fo test i would rather like shoaib, shabbir, gull and danish play as four expert bowlers ........

sorry man..i can't say...i haven't seen Ata play yet...so....sorry no opinion from me..

:D lol...well said....but he might get better...keep him in the team...he has performed well...we all know that..i remember him just thrashing the Kiwis on Pakistani tour....so we should have high hopes from him and encourage him to get in form..!!!
