Is Lungi / Dhoti out of fashion in Punjab?

35 minutes documentary on Bulleh Shah capturing masses visiting the shrine in rural area of Qasoor (Punjab) and I came to know that no one wear lungi / Dhoti now (except two guys at 30:00 of the video).

some people in the rural areas wear it, but its losing out with the passage of time

i think again this has to do with globalization. shalwar kamiz are more trendy. In urban areas even they are losing out now.

lungi is worn by bangaldeshis as well as indonesians/malaysians too

and they still wear at least in rural areas. But Pakistani avoid cultural dresses for unknown reasons.
