Juma prayers are conducted according to the instructions in the holy qur’an which states:
[Shakir 62:9] O you who believe! when the call is made for prayer on Friday, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trading; that is better for you, if you know.
Islam says that when the time for Jumu-ah prayer comes, discontinue every activity and answer the call to prayer, meet earnestly, pray, consult and learn by social contact; and when the meeting is over, scatter and go about your business.
The question is, who makes the CALL as stipulated in the above verse to make juma compulsory ?
hadith makes it very clear, if u do consider to follow it....
or if u r one of those who believe that Quran needs no hadith to explain things we fail to understand, then i think there is no mention of who shud make the call, what u shud pray, how long u shud pray, where u shud go, etc etc....
and if u believe in hadith, jumaa prayer is known to every muslim, even kids....
so u better make the objective of the question more clear....
"Our Lord! forgive us our sins and anything we may have done that transgressed our duty; establish our feet firmly and help us against those that resist faith." **Quran(3:147)
