Is Jesus Alive? If yes, where is he?

I’ve heard some ppl saying that Jesus is Alive…I wonder if he is alive…where is he?..just wondering…does anyone of you guys know???..:)…

According to the aqeedah of Muslims Isa alayhi as-salaam is alive in one of the heavens--i think the first heaven but i'm not sure off hand.

:)

Till next time*K_I_S_S*

Esa (as) is alive and never was killed as recorded by the christian bellief. he was not the one that the Jews murdered, it was his look alike. Allah (swt) lifted him and now he is in heaven until his second coming which would be near Damascus

jesus is alive and will come with Imam Mahdi (that's what i hear). and how do u know that his second coming is in Damascus.
The jews didn't murder him the romans did.

do n’t worry about him he alive and in good health and is saying hi! to all of you
visit his web site www.jesus_is_alive_and_kicking.com

i read this in some islamic books-not sure of which ones at the moment- but umm a guy was sent in to get Prophet Isa as the others surrounded the house- allah (swt) raised him up to the heavens, alive, where he is waiting till the day he comes back to punish all the jews, and kill the dajal- as for the man who was really crucified, he was the man originally sent in to kill the prophet, as he was inside, allah (swt) changed his appearence to look sort of like the prophet's and when he came out to tell them that the prophet wasn't there, they siezed him and refused to listen that he was not the prophet.

First of all, peace to every1 here...just my personal opinion if that's ok with every1, I think the thing you find in religion today (whether it's between the Christian denominations or any other religion)- Jesus is part or recognized in that religion in some manner (If I'm wrong on this, please forgive me) but, I think the thing one must decide (with anything), is what do I believe in and if I do believe it - then, don't play with it, Believe it fully - not just this part or that part.

Remember, Jesus did not leave the world the opportunity to say "well, he's was a nice guy - I don't know about the rest of it..." He said he was the only beggotten Son of the Father and we cannot reach the Father unless we believe in him and He intercedes in Love for us to the Father.

But, unlike most Christians - I choose to follow what Jesus taught, not what I want to do at anytime. And I believe there is no "us against them" or that we are better than anyone else, and in saying this let me say -everyone in this World is my brother, and as hard as it is to do sometimes - I do try to love everyone, for I believe we all have our failings but, If we truely love and pray for all men and women with our heart....we truely are rich and blessed.

I travel internationally for business and I can't tell you what a blessing it is to be in different countries and see that - We may have different lifestyles or traditions, but the great thing is the more people I meet, the more friends and brothers I have and that the lines we thought were between each of us - were put up by us and can be taken down just as easily.

Thanks for this forum...and I hope to meet new friends here also and thanks for letting me share my opinion.

Very well said...But as I muslim, my belief is different then yours and I would like to bring out a point here, if you dont mind. You have mentioned in your letter above that how Jesus said that he is the only begotten son of God. Please read Exodus 4:22 : "And thou (Moses) shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus said the Lord, Israel is my first born son"
...now read II Samuel 7:13-14 & Chronicles I 22:10 & Deutronomy 14:1 & Matthew 5:45, 48....and tell me the concept of trinity. Explain to me what & how did Trinit come about and How Christmas came about and Is Bible God's Word????

Looking forward to your response.

First of all, thank you for the verses...I love to seek truth and in no way have cornered all the answers, sometimes I wonder if I have any.. :). I agree when I first began studying the Old Testament when I hit these verses in my studies I said, "Oops, wait a minute here". But I would like to share what I've learned from my studies on these verses and welcome yours or anyone's input as well. I feel as we question things together we all learn more..myself included, for I must admit I'm not as well versed on other religions as I should be, but like to learn.

1.On Exodus 4:22 - I believe this a statement about the Father dealing with Israel...for i feel this could not be about Jesus...as Isreal did show rebellion and did sin in the presence of God despite the miracles, it is not likely that this was the best representation of who he was. Also, I believe Jesus always was..."Before Abraham was...I Am" and the scriptures pertaining to the Angel of the Lord, Melchiezedek, and the forth man in the fire was I believe, Jesus. But, I must admit..I find this a very difficult passage, yes.

2 Samuel 7:13 - "He shall build a House.." I feel this cannot pertain to Solomon, for it says "when your days are fulfilled and you rest with your Fathers.." for David was alive when Solomon was made King. Also see Zechariah 6:12. As in the following verse, the verbs in Hebrew lean towards "suffering for iniquity of another" and also, "My mercy shall not depart from Him" which I don't believe applies to any person living or dead that could earn this gift outside of Jesus "Which of you convicts me of sin?". Also, "Your throne will be established forever" which of David's, Solomon's, ect. are not true - only the Messiahship throne.

  1. 1 Chron 22:10 - The previous passage told David he won't build the throne upon bloodshed, and thus upon his son Solomon. And the Davidic throne, which God promised the Messiah would come from..was thus, going to and was fulfilled thru this lineage even though he was rejected.. "He came to His own yet, they aknowledged him not.." "The chief cornerstone has become a stumbling block".

  2. Duet 14:1 - I feel this passage is a commandment to not do as other nations where doing at the time, cut their hair off and incising themselves as consecration rituals during mourning.

  3. Matt 5:45 - Yes, great scripture and my previous posts' point...thank you, "Love everyone..that you may be called the sons of your Father in Heaven" I would add, "By this all men shall know you are my disciples, that you love one another as I have loved you".

Matt 5:48 - The "perfect" part I believe you are asking about? I would point you to a couple of scriptures. In Luke 11:9-11, Jesus tells his followers to seek and.. "How much more will the Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?" and therefore, in John 17:20 & 23, "I don't pray for these alone, but for all who believe in me through their word..that I am in them, and You in me..that they may be made "perfect" in one..." I feel as you might, that God in us is the only thing that can make us perfect.

  1. Christmas - I first don't think it was in the winter..haha. Most historians believe Jesus was born in the month of May. We christians celebrate it because of Luke 2:11 "Unto you this day in the city of David (the fulfillment of the lineage prophecy) a Savior, who is Christ the Lord" and Luke 2:13-14 "And suddenly with the angel, a multitude of heavenly hosts praising God and saying "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill to men". We believe this was a heavenly announcement to the World of gift of his Son.

  2. Trinity - some of my earlier thought have made some of my thoughts on that - but, that's a whole lot more of typing.... :)

I thank you for your post, and I hope to have not offended anyone...forgive me if I have, but I look forward to everyone's response.

Blessings to everyone... :)
