Is it worth it?

Re: Is it worth it?

^ the aching will go away in a day or two.. if you exercise frequenty, u’ll notice the difference…

I joined JC when i was like 19 i think.. lost like 2-3kg in a week.. my mum forced me to get off it after that.. I dont think any of these diets help in the long run… just try watching ur food intake and do regular exercise.. :k: thats my theory anyways.

And I agree with Mahru, great advice

Re: Is it worth it?

6 lbs?? that's odd. Every program i've ever tried says that healthy weight loss shud be 2-3 lbs per week (1-1.5 kG i think), anything more is kinda dangerous. The aching, yeah... i actually like it now, lol dunno if that says anything. I go through periods where ill exercise for days at a time and then just skip it..

Re: Is it worth it?

i dunno.. i think it was cus of the sudden change in diet and plus i was doing quite a bit of exercise during that time... I think, you tend to lose a fair bit in the first week neways..

Try walking for half an hour each day.. or maybe 4/5 times a week..

Re: Is it worth it?

i dont' think a sudden change is good at all. It has to be gradual, not all at once.

Re: Is it worth it?

sorry Sara but it's not worth it. all you require to lose weight is a strong will power of your own and some hard work. i mean go for jogging twice daily. if not twice. atleast once and excercise and reduce your intake of excessive fats and oily stuff and sweets. you would be wasting your money. instead you can spend it somewhere more useful. this is not a very smart idea where to spend your money at.

i mean it is YOUR body. you can do anything you like with it. NOBODY ELSE can tell you how to do what to do when you want to do. YOU have to decide what you want it to be and YOU must work hard to achieve this. dont believe in stupid miracles.

Re: Is it worth it?

I'm sorry, but your title reminds me of that Missy Eliot song.

Is it worth it? Lemme work it!

Re: Is it worth it?

^ lol me too..everytime i see it i am like singing it, n i hate it!

Sara I havent tried it, i am waiting till i get really desprate n then i will :D But I did sign up for some other program with them n they are just like marketing ppl, they will do anything to get you to sign up for two yrs or something. So basically you just gotta be careful not to sign up for more than one month n read watever you sign.

Re: Is it worth it?

why dont u write down everything u eat. avoid sugar cake cookies and stuff for just a week. i hate exercising im the biggest bum, i'd rather cut back on the cals so i do floor exercises a couple times a week. the first 9, 10ish lbs are easy to drop, its all water weight. so try writing down everything u eat, or try the 1000 cal a day diet

Re: Is it worth it?

i like running at night tho, or early morning..at least ur getting somewhere. but i HATE THE DAMN TREADMILL

Re: Is it worth it?

I had a huge issue with my weight until about six months ago when I realised looking good was all an attitude. And we all know I have plenty. So figures that I look pretty amazing and never noticed.

I think I look great and thus other people too. For me the happier I am the slimmer I get. Diets never work and I had tried em all. I am very very content with the way I look now. The only thing that slightly bugs me is the belly. but not seriously buggy - Im happy.
