i dont know about the ethical bit but i think its not nice…because the other person always gets the wrong vibe that you maybe talking about them.

i personally feel uncomfortable if two other people are talking in their own language which i do not understand and i have to sit amongst them.

I absolutely agree with this. It’s certainly very rude. If you are in company, you must always include everyone in it. It’s bad in the same way, whispering is, i.e. the other people may think you are saying something against them etc.
